During production, these raw materials are subjected to extremely high temperatures and pressures using Cosentino's exclusive Sinterized Particle Technology (SPT). This process recreates, in just a few hours, the same geological transformation that naturally takes thousands of years.

The finished material is virtually non-porous, highly stable and incredibly resistant to scratches, stains, UV radiation, moisture and thermal shock. Unlike many traditional stone surfaces, Dekton never requires sealing and maintains its appearance with very little maintenance.
