How to clean Silestone worktops and other surfaces:

For daily use, you can maintain your Silestone Silken Pearl surfaces by using a window cleaning spray. Dry with a microfibre cloth to ensure there are no marks or residues from the cleaning spray.

For persistent stains, use CIF Cream mixed with warm water. Rub the affected area with a white scouring pad in circular motions until it becomes foamy. Let the solution work for 1 (one) minute. Rinse with warm water.

Is Silestone Silken Pearl non-porous?

Silestone products avail practically zero porosity. This means that coloured liquids and foods can be placed on its surface without any risks of staining. In addition, the brand offers the exclusive N-Boost Treatment, the latest protective quartz technology. N-Boost acts as a liquid repellant by acting on a molecular level of the quartz stone, resulting in better colour depth and higher shine.

What are the dimensions and thicknesses of Silestone Quartz?

Silestone Silken Pearl is available in slabs with dimensions 3250 x 1590 mm. The large dimensions allow for the creation of panels without joints or seams. Also, you can avail these quartz products in thicknesses of 12 mm, 20 mm and 30 mm. This ensures that Silestone remains one of the most versatile materials, regardless of the size and type of your project.

How can I register my Silestone UK Warranty?

You can request a warranty certificate from Cosentino by presenting a copy of your invoice and batch number of your slabs. You can obtain both of these items by contacting your fabricator and/or installer. The fabricator will provide you with their Cosentino Identification details and the batch numbers of the slabs used for the project. You must register your warranty within 30 days of installation.

Where can quartz surfaces be used?

Silestone quartz surfaces can be used in any area of interiors, including kitchens and bathroom. In addition, these materials can be used in applications that include fireplace surrounds, floors, walls and furniture flooring. Quartz cannot be used externally since it may discolour when exposed to UV rays for long periods. Similarly, although quartz is highly heat resistant, it is recommended to use a trivet for placing items from the oven on to the surfaces.
